Analogy(20-20 way)

Most of my friends who read my blog were surprised that I have written nothing of 20-20.yes as all my friends know that I am a crazy cricket fan, but the reason I dint write is there is already so much written about it.I thought did we need more, but then today I had to write cause some of my colleagues started talking about how test and one day cricket (ODI) will fall.. how suddenly ODI and test have become so boring..Thats when I asked them a simple question If I give u guys a option of a one night stand, a year long relationship and a lifelong great wife what would u choose ? the decision was unanimous it’s a great relation for a life time. But then they asked whats the analogy between all this…this is what I think.. a night stand is a like a 20-20 game its pure entertainment while the game is going when its done maybe until another night stand u will remember the first one I am damn sure most of us don’t remember the first match between India and pak(not the finals…that’s how it is now lets come to the odi’s its also great fun but requires a lot more responsibility and a lot more stamina in the case of our comparison anybody who had a relation for a year or so would definitely know that its much much tough then a night stand but may not be that entertaining. NOW the last one all of us invariably get married but to keep that bond a happy one that takes courage ,determination, and what not but above all it needs patience.. that’s what test cricket is all about real…test of character. may be the fun part is not visible but its far more satisfying. NOW I know u might disagree…and there are some who think one night stand is great… but according to me those are the guys who cant accept responsibility…but what the hell these are my views.. and one more thing I want to stress I am in no way against 20-20..thats good fun but I think cricket spread over 5 days is actual test of everything just like marriage is… other things come and go what remains in the end is ……. : )
