RoCk On....

This has got nothing to do with the movie ‘Rock On’…but this blog is entirely about an incident which happened during the movie and my thoughts on it… as usual we entered the movie just in time and two of our esteemed twat members came late : )… I was just watching the movie and not enjoying it cause my mind was somewhere else…and after some time my phone pinged which in recent days have become a rarity.. anyway this was a message from my best friend.. the state of her mind is usually expressed in her message and this was of super happiness and why not she had bagged a short role in a movie and impressed her director so much that he promised that she will be part of his every movie…I was very happy and also proud cause as the tag line of rock on said she followed her dreams.. yes it was tough she believed in herself and her talent. When all her classmates tried to outbid each other for a seat in MBBS or BE she chose BA… she excelled in her field while all others including me compromised on their dreams, she persisted even when she got a job as an assistant director and a descent pay, I remember telling her she had achieved her dream and she shot back ‘Ya director is ok but acting that’s what I want to do’ she did not stop her quest to be an actress.. while I and her sister and may be many others teased her on how she cared too much about her skin and weight and what not she just smiled.. worked hard… and on last Friday fortune favored…or is it just that she was rewarded for believing in herself and her talent.. I think she deserved what she got.. and I know one more thing she wont stop at small roles…but the best part is she has inspired two more people to follow their dreams.. sometimes u need a wake up call to stop dreaming and start acting ….ROCK ON now isn’t this the best title for this blog
